Auto Flip
How do you weigh the options? When one wants a sports utility vehicle and the other wants a sleek two door sedan you'll want to do more than flip a coin. Use this numerical check list to help you weigh the matter.

Family size:
1. small three or less
2. large (four or more)
Ages:
1. Low-Two adults and baby
2. Mid-Two adults and pre-teen
3. Large-three adult size or more
Terrain:
1. Flat smooth
2. Flat and Hills
3. flat, hills, bumps, sandy.
Activity:
1. Light (tennis/golf)
2. Heavy (biking/skiing)
3. Extreem (hang-gliding/canoeing/rafting)

It goes without saying there is a wide margin between sedans and SUV's but the choosing gets easier as you think about what really matters in the vehicle and the family that rides in it. Have each family member select the numbers they feel best describe family size, terrain and activity.

The number 1 range would be served well in a sedan. The number 2 range would best be served in a four door sedan or mid-size sport utility. The number 3 range would best be served in a mid to full size sport utility vehicle.

If you still have difficulty narrowing down the best option think in terms of maintenance costs vs. income. The more economic approach would be the 1-2 range. The less economic approach might be the 2-3 range. If you're still undecided it's time to flip that coin.
